Landscape Design & Installation in Orlando, FL

Your landscape should feel like it was designed for your home, not simply planted around it.

OScape Lawn & Landscaping provides custom landscape design and installation for homeowners throughout Orlando and surrounding Central Florida communities.

Thinking about transforming your property?

● Your property

Your Yard Doesn't Have to Stay the Way It Is

Central Florida lawns can be frustrating.

  • Maybe you recently bought a home and the landscape doesn't feel like you.

  • Maybe the plants are overgrown.

  • Maybe the front yard lacks curb appeal.

  • Maybe the backyard feels unfinished.

  • Maybe you have a pool but the surrounding landscape doesn't match the quality of the home.

  • Maybe you have a pool but the surrounding landscape doesn't match the quality of the home.

That's where a landscape design can help.

Instead of randomly buying plants and hoping everything works together, we can step back and look at the property as a whole.

● Designed around you

We Design the Landscape Around You

Before we recommend plants, materials, or other improvements, we want to understand what you're trying to accomplish.

We'll consider:

```html
The architecture of your home
Existing trees and plants
Sun and shade
Drainage
Irrigation
Soil and site conditions
Your preferred style
How much maintenance you want
Pets and children
Privacy
Outdoor entertaining
Pool areas
Walkways
Lighting
Turf or natural grass
Hardscape
The result should be a landscape that works for your property and your lifestyle.
● Design & build
From Design to Installation
One of the advantages of working with OScape is that your project doesn't have to stop at a drawing.
We can take the design and turn it into the finished landscape.
That may include:
Landscape Design
A plan for how the property should look and function.
Plant Selection
Plants selected based on the property's conditions and the desired appearance.
Plant Installation
Installation of trees, palms, shrubs, grasses, groundcovers, and other landscape plants.
Landscape Beds
Creating or reshaping planting beds to establish a cleaner, more intentional layout.
Mulch & Rock
Using landscape materials to finish planting areas and complement the design.
Artificial Turf
Incorporating synthetic turf where appropriate.
Pavers & Hardscape
Creating patios, walkways, transitions, and other hardscape elements.
Landscape Lighting
Adding lighting to highlight architectural features, plants, pathways, and outdoor living areas.
Irrigation
Evaluating irrigation requirements and coordinating improvements where needed.
● Built for Central Florida
Florida-Friendly Landscape Design
Central Florida presents some unique challenges.
  • It's hot.
  • Removal requirements
  • Drainage requirements
  • Edge conditions
  • Project complexity
We believe a landscape should be beautiful while also making sense for Central Florida.
Where appropriate, we'll consider:
  • Florida-friendly plants
  • Water requirements
  • Drainage
  • Maintenance requirements
  • Seasonal appearance
  • Sun exposure
  • Mature plant size
  • Soil conditions
  • Plant spacing
The goal isn't simply to fill every empty space with plants.
It's to create a landscape that will look better as it matures.
● Designed to be seen
A Landscape Should Look Good From Every Angle
One of the mistakes we often see in landscape projects is designing only for the immediate view.
A good landscape should work from multiple perspectives.
From the street.
From the front door.
From inside the house.
From the pool.
From the patio.
From the backyard.
And at night.
That's why we consider how the landscape connects different areas of the property.
A tree shouldn't simply be planted because there's an empty spot.
A hedge should have a purpose.
A planting bed should have a reason for its shape.
A pathway should lead somewhere.
Lighting should highlight something.
Every element should contribute to the overall design.
A Landscape Should Look Good From Every Angle
1 Step 1
Consultation
We start by talking about your property and what you want to accomplish.
  • Bring us your ideas.
  • Show us photos you like.
  • Tell us what you don't like.
  • You don't need to know the names of every plant.
  • That's our job.
2 Step 2
Property Evaluation
We'll evaluate the existing landscape and identify opportunities, challenges, and potential improvements.
3 Step 3
Design
Depending on the scope of your project, we'll develop a landscape design that shows how the property can be transformed.
Landscape Design Fee
Our landscape design fee starts at $350 and up, depending on project scope.
If you approve the design and choose OScape to complete the installation, 50% of the design fee can be applied toward the project deposit.
Design fees are non-refundable, and design changes or site scope beyond the original plan may be additional.
4 Step 4
Proposal
Once the design direction is established, we'll provide a proposal for the installation.
You'll know what we're proposing and what the investment looks like before work begins.
5 Step 5
Installation
Once approved, our team begins transforming the property.
Depending on the project, this can include:
  • Removing existing landscape
  • Installing trees and palms
  • Installing groundcovers
  • Installing pavers
  • Installing lighting
  • Preparing planting beds
  • Installing shrubs and ornamental plants
  • Installing mulch or decorative rock
  • Installing artificial turf
  • Irrigation improvements
6 Step 6
Final Walkthrough
When the installation is complete, we'll review the finished project with you and make sure the work has been completed according to the agreed scope.
● Cost considerations
What Does Landscape Design & Installation Cost?
This is one of the most common questions we receive.
And unfortunately, there isn't a useful one-size-fits-all answer.
A landscape renovation can range from refreshing a few planting beds to completely redesigning a property's outdoor environment.
Your investment depends on:
  • Property size
  • Plant selection
  • Existing landscape removal
  • Hardscape
  • Landscape lighting
  • Site access
  • Overall design complexity
  • Scope of design
  • Number and size of trees
  • Irrigation requirements
  • Artificial turf
  • Drainage
  • Materials
For that reason, we prefer to understand the project before recommending an investment.
If you're considering a larger landscape transformation, starting with a design consultation is often the best first step.
● Refresh, don't replace
We Can Work With What You Already Have
A landscape renovation doesn't always mean starting over.
Sometimes the best solution is to preserve what works and change what doesn't.
We may recommend:
Keeping established trees
Relocating certain plants
Redesigning planting beds
Removing overgrown plants
Adding privacy
Improving transitions
Updating mulch or rock
Adding lighting
Replacing struggling lawn
Adding artificial turf
Installing a new walkway or patio
The objective is to improve the property—not change things simply for the sake of changing them.
● Why homeowners choose OScape
Why OScape?
We're not trying to make every property look the same.
Your home isn't the same as your neighbor's.
Your property has its own architecture, layout, sunlight, drainage, and personality.
We want the landscape to reflect that.
Our approach combines:
Our installation process typically includes:
Landscape design
Professional installation
Central Florida plant knowledge
Hardscape
Artificial turf
Landscape lighting
Property maintenance
That means we can look at your outdoor space as a complete environment rather than treating every piece as an isolated project.
